Disputes involving children

Often when a relationship breaks down, the arrangements relating to the children, such as who they are to live with and how much time they should spend with either parent, is the issue at the most forefront of clients’ minds.

At Bonell & Co, we can assist you with realistic, personalised advice as to suitable arrangements for your children in your own particular circumstances and try to reach an amicable agreement with your ex-partner. When this is not possible, we will advise you as to the suitability of alternative dispute resolution options, such as mediation or, as a last resort, Court proceedings.

We can also provide assistance in connection with financial matters pertaining the children, such as children maintenance, access to the Child Maintenance Service and, in some cases, the possibility of making a financial application for the benefit of the children in circumstances where support is needed from the absent parent in order to house the children and pay for their school fees.
